I'm driving straight from the Mansfield show. Hopefully I'll find a hotel close to the venue. Nothing like tailgating an Oasis show. Of the 4 shows I'm hitting, I have to say I'm almost lokking forward to Phili the most as It's GA.

We'll find you a hotel..closer to the event remind me and I'll help you cause I live close in NJ and if you wanna save some cash you can get a hotel across the river and then meet me and my friends and take the ferry right to festival pier..takes about 10 minutes

lets see..does everyone wanna party at a cool bar in philly or do you wanna party in NJ and then take the ferry? my buddy runs a bar right on South Street in Philadelphia where we can all go and get wasted and then go to the show

There are several hotels nearby, and it's right off of Delaware Ave which is a great place to party in the area; less then 2 months away, and haven't played Philly since 01 w/the Crowes (02 cancelled b/o the Indy car accident) it will be awesome.

Yeah..thank god I had tickets for the Beacon in NYC for 2 nights or I'd have killed a cabbie.. True Story... first night Beacon..took my 9 year old nephew and 7 year old neice and my sister in law with me and we were sitting next to this very nice couple from England. So they were surprised to see little kids at an Oasis show so they took a liking to the kids immediately and I swear those kids felt like celebrities that night...anyways...the guy asks my neice what her favorite song from Oasis is and she says "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" and he says "why?" and she replies as loud as can be, "CAUSE I'M MAD FER IT!" 7 and all ready a bad ass lol..I call her little Liam

i live near the venue : there is a almost brand new comfort inn within 3 blocks of the venue, around $100 a night with kick ass river/bridge views. south street is a good distance from the show, better bet is the bars in old city which are walking distance as are the cool pubs in Northern Liberties. my reccomendations on good places to drink before the gig are : Standard Tap, North on 3rd, 700 Club in Northern Libs or Brownies Irish Pub, The Plough and Stars or Eulogy in Old City. my plan is get to the venue around 1 with some Boddingtons.

I dont think there is much of a tailgating scene at festival pier..just a bar scene. Festival pier info.. www.pennslandingcorp.com/
