Im almost sure that it wont be a single...It is long, slow (and beatiful:-)...I think they even wont play it live...

NO. i hate those lennon-esque styled songs. that woul dbe so shit if they released it as a single. its boring. its dull. its too beatlish. i wanted oasis to release a more rockin/punkier album with songs in the style of supersonic, headshrinker, bring it on down, columbia, listen up, acquiesce, etc an album full of all rockers. but it aint gonna happen sadly.  |

Yeah man!! I suggested that when i first heard it on masterplan forum!!! I think it shouldve been saved!! like a whatever and released like that cos people wouldv defineltly brought it!!

id like that song to maybe have a promo video or somethin, just so the world can hear it, ive played it to so many chavs and supermodels is school and even they were like "yea ok fairplay, thats special"

Its an amazing song, but can't see it being released as a single. There are several potential singles ... TUTS, MF TIOBI, LLAB ... think these are all more likely than LTBL.

There is no way Keep the Dream alive or Mucky Fingers should be released, they would damage Oasis reputation (not fans, but 'neautral listeners').

I've had Turn up the Sun stuck in my head since I heard the one minute clip. It was a lovely sunny day really felt like summer. I can really see this as a single ahitting toward the end of June, i even got asked wwhat song it was from some bloke at a urinal...which was odd.
But imagine, if you will, it having been released, becomes an anthem, Hampden Park, and it's pissing down with rain, and the boys play Turn up the sun. I can't wait for it.

well like 30 secs, then i just stood behind them talkin to this fella, he really really liked embrace, had pictures of him with them in his wallet n all, should point out this was at an embrace concert, which by the way was far better than i though it would be

Its the worst of the leaked songs I think. The outro is mega, but the melody is a bit boring. I must disagree on Mucky Fingers however. Brilliantly catchy and groovy if you know what I mean. Driving on the beat pop/rock. I think it would do very well. But surely MEANING OF SOUL to be a single!!! Short, snappy, in your face. |

sadly singles are released on the basis of how people will like it in general, not just oasis fans. I love KTDA and all the other songs, and in sayin that, I reckon either meaning of soul or mucky fingers would take it. Both pretty catchy and something you can tap your feet to LTBL is MEGA, and will probably not be released as a single... its a great song but takes a while to love... a neverending love i might add  |

I think Let There Be Love will be the third single. It definitely has the potential of being a hit in America (as we love those ballady-type songs). Of course, it'd have to be edited from the six minutes in length. Also, I love Keep The Dream Alive. The melody is better than anything on Heathen Chemistry (except the chorus to SCYHO--that's truly beautiful). Lyla, LTBL, and KTDA are the only songs I've heard so I really can't give an educated guess. As far as the second single, I heard The Importance of Being Idle was Noel's best song?
