I don't know why anyone would be complaining about this new cd. Mucky Fingers is the best noel single since Whats the story. Its better then anything Noels done on the last 3 albums. Guess God thinks I'm Able is friggin great. Oasis's new image also is vastly improved. Their image is better then its been since whats the story as well. This may or may not sound like any thing that Oasis has done before, but I think they've really returned.

what exactly is meant by oasis has 'returned'. from where?
cos i was under the impression that it was with Heathen Chemistry that oasis had 'returned' from apparerntly the abysmal previous 2 efforts (which i disagree but anyway) of BHN and SOTSOG
so with DBTT- my only guess is that you are referring to a return to mainstream popularity?

I reckon this will make Oasis 'trendy' as I know loads of people who hated Oasis for no reason but now love 'em because of Lyla.

Heathen Chemistry was the turning point. It marked that Oasis is a band which can fight back. Noel said on the webchat yesterday that Oasis was at a fragile period around SOTSOG. Now the atmosphere is better the qualities come out for 100%. You see it at their faces; fun in making music is there. Contributions of different members is a good thing too. It hopefully creates a 'we did it' feeling, more then ever.
