i aren't a massive fan of reviews or particularly one to go out of my way to read them, cos i don't care what other people think about something - i want a taste for myself to make up my own mind. but after reading that review it does seem very honest....not biased. just honest - doesn't slag the lads off cos they've done something the writer doesn't believe in and doesn't overly-praise Oasis cos the writer thinks they're the best and only rock n roll band on the planet.;D fair play to the journalist. bring on the album!!  |

the reviews are great its like a old freind u havent seen in years and u welcome him with open arms ;D
the times vagina did not hear it as evidenced by her writing but so far all the reviews from people who heard it are great!
my personal review after hearin 8 out of 11
a 9
the only lps i give a 10 to were revolver..dm... never mind the bollocks..led zep 4
so a 9 is damn good in my book ;D

Great!  this was the only bad thing on it: (And the sleeve – surely Oasis hold the record for the worst album sleeves of all time, and in this respect, their latest is no disappointment.) But I don´t mind ;D |

Clearly the most satisfying thing for me is to hear casual fans and the media confirm what all of us already know - this is one fantastic album!

they probly will, rolling stone cant stick to one opinion. when they give a bad review to a landmark album (nevermind, van halen, blood sugar sex magik) they always re-review the album and give it 4 or 5 stars.
weezer is on the cover this month for gods sake. next month they'll probly have coldplay or oasis, depending on who generates the most buzz or gets a better review for their album.

Hey my friend, thanks so much for posting that album review. I've been enjoying reading each and every review that comes out, but this one was exceptional. Aren't these the same people who seemed to hate Oasis for the past few years? Things keep looking brighter every day. Cheers! |

Heathen Chemistry was and is a great album, though it was slaughted by many reviewers.
The fact that some newspapers don't like Oasis is not so important to me.
The importance is the reaction of the fans, who can judge best.
And so far the reactions are very positiv.
If it is as good as Heathen Chemistry I am satisfied.
