Right, im not exagerrating now, and i dont think its just excitement!
But from the songs ive heard so far and from the clips of some of the other songs on NME.com, DBTT is shaping up to possibly be my fave oasis album ever!
Seriously, the sound that they have got at the minute is colliding with where my musical tastes are right now, and when they clash on May 30, its gonna be explosive!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LUCKY ME!!

In all it sounds like a new fresh direction for the band! And i love it!

must admit these clips are exciting to hear it is a different sound for them. i feel very sorry for the sad little reviewers and journalists who will claim its typical oasis (there will be many who say that....) because this is sounding like a fresh direction as JayG says. not sure if fresh is the right word though coz its retro as fook! lol. but its definitely a new direction the only song that sounds like stereotypical 'average' oasis is.....lyla! should be a great album. why do we have to wait another month for it.....will there be this much buzz in a months time?

The Guys will never reproduce Definitely Maybe, but early signs are, this is going to be a cracking Album and I am glad with the change of direction (It will shut up that Damon "No more War" fucking Alban)

Sounds a bit psycadelic, a bit eastern, a bit everything. This record oughta be great.

I completely agree - after hearing the clips I am VERY excited. It's definately a turning point for the band IMO. So much so, that I don't think it's fair to compare this with any of the other albums because in a lot of ways this is a different Oasis - a stronger and more diverse Oasis - ten years ago Liam didn't write songs or play guitar, no Andy, no Gem, etc. etc. This probably doesn't make much sense so I'll stop gushing - I've just never been so happy to be a fan.
