What other band, 11 years into their career, would come up with a song with as much power, brilliance, and geniune fucking beauty as Let There Be Love?
They've just proved they can't be touched.

You might just have something there, man.
I haven't heard the song yet (I do have the demo of "It's A Crime"), and if it's as good as everyone says it is then my friends I think that we are in for one hell of a summer

yea i agree with you.
i'm sure some people will argue u2 still creates music that beauty in their music, but i don't think that their songs like one and sometimes you can't make it on your own lack the epic nature of let there be love.
liam and noel are just at the top of their games here. even though its adapted from an old demo (although by the lyrics its hardly recognizable) its makes you realize that this is a band that i still one of the best bands in the world and doesnt want to give up their crown. it's definetly their most beatlesque song, it sounds like it could be off let it be. just a truly perfect five minutes and 18 seconds.
