Oh man, I'm getting chills just thinking about it. Just imagine LTBL as the new set closer. Lighters flickering, Noel with his acoustic guitar, Liam opening, Gem or Andy playing piano and everyone clapping and swaying along

I doubt it'll get played much live. It's a bit like Roll It Over for me (albeit much better), doesn't quite fit in with an Oasis set!

It is difficult with oasis... It is hard to say what they will play... Remember when Noel said that they wont play Roll it over, coz the solo is too difficult? (bullshit)...same with All in the mind... maybe it is because of his respect to Johnny Marr, but I think it is more about which songs he likes at the moment....

yea man everybody holding hands and singing 'let there be love!' just magical! awesome song. really gets better with each listen. has a vibe about it... but i dunno the whole 'let there be love' 60s hippy style thing with clapping and lighters etc isnt quite my thing.... i have little doubt that if Lennon had written this song in his prime it would of been hailed as a classic

I disagree, i admit, i have never seen Oasis live (cue for comments like "you f***ing tw@ what do you know then??") but i am seeing them in Manchester and at V Festival this year and I can't see that song being a closer. Oasis are all about attitude and power, that song is a filler. The last song will be from DM or (WTS)MG & it'll deffo be a classic Liam track i'd put my money on Rock 'n Roll Star or Champagne Supernova. It cud also be one of their 2 fave covers, and if it is im hoping for My Generation because personally I can't stand Walrus. Then again, Walrus would allow me a quick exit to the shop before the "queues" start. Any news on the support acts? I haven't looked around yet.

Ok first off, you can't stand Walrus? Walrus is not only one of the greatest songs of all time, it's one of Noel and Liam's favorite songs of all time and written and performed by Liam's idol. And second, you say LTBL is a FILLER!??!?!? This song is incredible!!!!! Filler!?!? AUGHGHGHHHHGHHHH

Well i'm sorry, Walrus is just not my cup of tea i'm not saying its a bad version - I just don't like the song. And, id put alot of money on that song not being a single, incredible or not, so if it is never released doesn't that mean it is "filler". I could be wrong lol, its just how I thought things were. I mean, building upon my definition, songs like Rock 'n Roll Star are filler really aren't they?

I see LTBL as the last song they play before their encore or as the first song of the encore.

It won't be the set closer, but I'm sure it will be in there somewhere. This is one of the songs that everybody has been talking about so far, so they would be insane not to play it. I am interested to see how Liam's voice will be live on this one and whether he can hit the high notes or not.

I'd like them to close with a different song than before. So no My Generation etc.
And I think it's quite likely they'll figure up something new, LTBL wouldn't be a bad idea!

From what i have read about LTBL it aint no closer far as I'm concerned oasis should close with rnr star again(i'd love to hear walrus but im guessin they would never do it again witht the new lineup and it just wouldn't be the same without bonehead in charge for the outro)

They should never close with a song as mellow as Let There Be Love. The closer should always be something rockin like I am the Walrus or Rock n Roll Star.
