Ok. Just so everyone can get where I am coming from.
Fav ALL TIME album is DM.
My second is Ratt's Out of the Cellar (laugh at me all you want)
3rd is Urban Hymns
4th is Some Friendly (Charlatans)
35 yr old in Tampa.
Least fave Oasis album is BHN.

Ok so
Mucky Fingers-When I heard the first half I was perplexed but I listened closely. Half way through I realized the beat was NOT going to change so I accepted it and then took it for what is was. A PURPOSEFUL blues Springsteen esque song that is different and I like it.
Lyla- Really a grower which is strange for a simple rock n roll song but it didn't catch me like U2's vertigo did (which I am glad b/c Vertigo completely fell out of sight and is never played at all on radio only a couple of months down the line). Lyla is a fun song meant to be simple and played live.
KTDA- Great song. No not in your face Liam but like Tellin Stories meets Slideaway. Liam is a bit nasally in the beginning but it really got good.
Meaning Of Soul- Short and in your face. I like it.What else does it sound like? Nothing I have heard, that's a plus in my book. It's Headshrinker to some people. Some people think Headshrinker rocks even though they KNOW it will never be looked at as a Classic.
LTBL-The only one I haven't heard. According to 90% of the people that have, I believe I will like it.
Some of the negative posts and fighting raelly makes me wonder whether I should even log on anymore until May 31st.

is anyone else a teensy bit dissapointed with let there be love?
im not sure wat i expected, prolly champagne supenova but its, well its too much its a crime, i thought they had compleatly changed the music and the lyrics to the point were the only similarity between the demo and the finnished version wud be the sentiment
i dunno, its ok but i expected more

mucky fingers is awful, maybe its a grower like lyla but iv only listend to it twice, but too me it sounds as unremarkable as all in the mind that said meaning of soul is amazing "Mucky Fingers" grew on meh !!  Top tune !!! I don't know why but it makes me think of Obladi Oblada sped-up. |
