I'm sure this info is here somewhere but can anyone tell me what Gem's pedal setup is?
Thanks!

This is all I have...bit out of date
For the first 3/4 albums the setup was basically the same.
Noel used Epiphone Riviera's and Sheratons, although the whole of Definatly Maybe was recorded with an epiphone les paul, which he later gave away to Digsy from Smaller. His FX board was pretty basic, containing a Vox Wah, Boss PH2, DD3 and HR2. This ran through a Korg tuner to a splitter box, one side ran into a Vox AC30, later to be a Marshall Bluesbreaker combo, the other ran into another splitter box which ran into a JCM900 stack and a WEM dominator combo. His huge sound was basically each amp cranked up to give a wall of sound.
Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs used a Epiphone Riviera straight to a Marshall valvestate amp.
Noel used a few other guitars in the studio, a strat and another les paul that Jonny Marr gave him but the amps stayed the same, the two combos and the JCM900 for solo's.
OK, here goes:
Early days, before they were signed:
Noel:
Epiphone Les Paul Epiphone Rivera Marshall Valvestate 8080 combo Wem Dominator 15 watt tube Combo Roland Space Echo
No idea about pedals, or the others.

Morning Glory Tour:
Noel:
Epiphone Rivera "Union Jack" Marshall JCM 900 head, and 2 4x12 cabinets Marshall Bluesbreaker Combo Wem Dominator Mk III combo Wem Dominator combo (used for Maine Road gig, aswell) Crybaby/Vox wah Boss PH2 phaser (for Swamp Song) Boss DD5 Delay
Bonehead:
Epiphone Rivera 2 Marshall JMP 50 watt combos and 2x12 cabs Marshall JCM 800 head, and 2 4x12 cabinets (big outdoor gigs only)

Gem has a 6 unit box that goes straight into the rack. His rack is customized, so unless you here it from him, there is no way to be sure what is inside of it. At the Brits he had an Ibanez Tubescreamer next to his floor box. It was weird because it looked new. When he and Noel played the acoustic shows, he had a digital delay (dd-6) and a vintage tubescraemer that he constantly toyed with. It's safe to say in his rack is a chorus, a flanger, a delay, and who knows what else. He has a pretty heavy Vox tone, so you actually dont need pedals to get his sounds.

Didnt get to go to the Brits, but a good friend of mine (who ironically is not an oasis fan) worked the show and took pics with his phone of all the gear they were using.
webby- Ill be in NYC jan 8 and 9. I was going to see if you guys and Shaun want to meet up and have a pint or two.

Bump.
This thread is a bit of a goldmine for anyone who is looking to replicate the Oasis sound for fun and/or performing. Plus, if anyone has anymore gear info, please do post!

I've been searching several websites but this is better than any of those.
E: I'm quite sure Noel has used Ibanez TS9 distortion pedal since DM. Btw, Maxon OD9 is basically same as old TS9. New TS9 sounds a bit different than the old model Noel (and lots of others) used. I don't have any experience but that's what I've read.
He used that tubescreamer in solo parts with some delay added (Boss DD-3 will get that sound I think).

For the 2018 HFB tour Noel has got on his board, Pete Cornish SS2,Strymon Timeline, Catlinbread EchoRec, Kingsley Page, Kingsley Compressor, Boss Pn2 Tremelo,Sib Echodrive,Ms30 Double Tracker and an Empress Echo System. All switched with 2 Mike Hill switchers. As for Gems board, all i know is he's using the GigRig2 switcher for his pedals.
