for those who havent seen this site already- www.sims-solos.co.uk/this guy is great. You can download his own version of an Oasis solo, plus his accurate tab for it - makes it so much easier to play along to the song. the solo for 'bring it on down' in particular, was useful to me.

dont wanna sound like a prick. but i like using my ears to pick up the solos. it makes me feel better when i can play it through my own knoweldge.

Also if anyone knows where to get the tab for the end solo on live forever (live or record) id like to know, also i wouldnt mind knowing the little riffs.
Second thoughts Columbia did you say you had the definitely maybe tab book? Would you be able to put the official tab up?

ok, do you just want the solo? Its quite an easy solo really its just in a basic pentatonic scale...

No im fine with the solo, its the outro solo that im after and just a few riffs from the verses if there in there

listen to Chuck Berry and you have Oasis right there.
Noel is does alot of the same stuff in different melodies, so it sounds different but really it's close. Once you learn the moves you can jsut peace together the rest of the solo.

noel plays more melodic when it comes to solos. it's not that difficult to play at all. try playing by ear, see what you come up with. that's how i learned nearly every single oasis song. the progressions aren't out of reach at all.
