im not sure, different styles. Hendrix is the master of tapping, which is much easier then it looks once youve got the hand of it although he was the total master of it. Id have to see some clips of hendrix live to make a proper opinion really. Ive got the led zeppelin dvd and its absolutely amazing, he just improvises throughout. The version of since ive been loving you is the most amazing piece of guitar work ive ever seen. Yesterday id just listened to voodoo chile though and whenever i listen to that it never fails to sway my opinion towards hendrix. I think its definitely between those two though no one else comes near in my opinion...

Hendrix.. But only cuz he actually pushed the electric guitar to a new level using feedback and what not. Page is still a genious in my mind tho and I think he was the better songwriter.. thoughts?
PS. You guys should hear Stevie Ray Vaughn do Hendrix.. I kid u not he plays hendrix as good as hendrix/
In my mind SRV was the greatest that ever lived

A few people might want to murder me, however i think old jimis a bit over rated! He were great to invent his own style but angus young is just as good!

i would like to see more of Hendrix live. His rythm playing is what i love- no one plays rythm like him. he makes the most basic stuff sound awesome.
Purple Haze is my fave Hendrix track, and although the solo sucks imo, the rythm is amazing.
(btw how the fuck do you spell rythm?? lol it doesnt look right...)
SRV was great - Pride and Joy is one of my fave songs for the guitar

I have this hendrix bootleg called "pipe Dream" that my friend had the record for. He used like a mastering program to clean it up and it sounds really good.

Mr. Jimi imo. But Jimmy on The Song Remains the Same was great ... which reminds me I gotta get the newer 2-disc Zep live still.
