Eagles- Hotel California Led Zep - Stairway to Heaven (can't single out the solo - whole song basically!) ahh i need to listen to Hendrix, SRV, Clapton and the Roses again to properly answer this thread...

I reckon John Squires at knebworth is good on Champagne Supernova yes yes. I love that guitar especially near the end. Kinda has shades of hendrix i think. The Roses? I don't think they had many outstanding solos since their music was more on the bass driven melody side. i could be wrong.

Live Forver Where did it all go Wrong? Eric Clapton- While My Guitar Gently Weeps The Beatles- Let it Be (naked) Crazy Train (Randy Rhodes) The Beatles- Get Back Guns 'N Roses- Civil War Motorhead- Ace of Spades Queen- Bohemian Rhapsody
For Crazy Train I put the name of the very under-appreciated guitarist, Randy Rhodes, i very much doubt that Ozzy wrote that solo
