;D ;D ;D
For anyone who missed it, Noel was as hilarious as usual.
He says he was even writing this morning before coming on air and has two new songs on top of those carried over from DBTT which he says are "collosal". Says its unfair on Andy, Gem and Liam to have to present their new songs to the band when he follows up with what hes been writing ;D , seemed very positive about how its been going. Didnt ask him about possible completion dates for the album though unfortunately.
Lovejoy, the presenter greeted Noel saying "Congratulations, youre having a baby - do you know yet if its a boy or a girl?"
To which Noel replied "Yes, i can confirm it is definitely a boy or a girl" ;D
When asked which football team the baby would support Noel said that if its a girl it wont like football and if a boy he wouldnt put him through having to support City but "we dont want to count our chickens before they hatch - but I'd like to reiterate that it is a baby and not a chicken!" ;D
He was asked about the possibility of a solo album and said that he only ever brings it up to wind up Liam but its not actually happening; said the best live gig he's ever seen was either U2, Kraftwerk and Public Enemy all on the same bill at the Manchester G-Mex or a recent Neil Young gig at the Hammersmith.
Noel was presented with the brand new Man City home and away shirts for his upcoming 40th birthday to which he said "i'm glad I've been seen on telly with these cos theyll be worth a bomb now!", he then kissed them both and said they were going straight on e-bay!!! ;D Said he'd like Paul Le Guen or George Graham to succeed Stuart Pearce as City boss.
He was also presented with another wrapped gift which when handed he asked "Is it James Blunts head in a box? Oh I hope its James Blunts head in a box!". ;D It wasnt though.
When shown a picture of a tattoo on a mans back of Noel and Liam with the lyrics of The Masterplan beneath (which was very impressive btw!) he said that surely he was due some royalties for the reproduction of his lyrics ;D
Was really funny - did anyone else see it?
