Honestly, I could care less how hard you work at your music. If you can make great music without putting in any work then at the end of the day you still make good music.

Never heard of him or his band. Even then, it sounds like a cheap shot at Noel. Just cause Noel's taking a break now doesn't mean he didn't work hard any time before. How many times did they have to redo Definitely Maybe? Three times or something?

I like The Fall.
And I'd be delighted if Oasis released a new album every year.

I have to agree with him. oasis aren't exactly prolific are they? It would be OK if they produced nothing but gems but sad to say that's not the case. I find myself becoming increasingly dissapointed at oasis. The latest story how Noel says liam is losing it and how he is keeping the group together doesn't bode well. I don't want another DBTT but the classic we all know they can make if they can be bothered, which I really don't think they are anymore.

I'd be happy if they pushed an album out as good as DBTT every time. Sure, it's no Def Maybe or Morning Glory, but it's got good fuckin' tunes that I really enjoy.

Sorry to sound so down on oasis. I just want the next album to be huge and what I'm hearing seems to be like they are on the verge of calling it a day. I really think IF they make teh next album it will be the classic to beat DM or MG (yes DBTT was good by any other bands standards but by oasis's it was only OK) Mark E Smith is pretty influential and many consider him rock royalty-John Peel's favourite group I think. The Fall were very un accessable (IMO) and I just can't listen to any of their stuff but they have/had many many fans in the music biz. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_E._Smithen.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fall_%28band%29
