WHEN NOEL GALLAGHER’s manager suggested he did a Red Square gig, I wouldn’t mind betting the boozing Manc thought he was in line for some free alcopops. Luckily the OASIS star realised he was being offered the chance to do his first gig on Soviet soil. On Friday night the Rock’n’Roll Tsar arrived in Moscow to play a sellout gig with bandmate GEM ARCHER. The pair served up a storming acoustic set at Club B1 — before celebrating with a marathon drinking session that must have left Russian vodka reserves severely depleted. One fan told me: “Noel was on top form all night. He looked like he was really enjoying being in Russia. The party afterwards was a typical Russian affair — lots and lots of vodka. There was some serious drinking going on. “Noel deserved to get hammered, though. The gig was absolutely brilliant. The Russian audience knew every word to every song" I have to take my hat off to him — getting battered in the week where he needs to be on top form. Tonight and tomorrow Noel headlines the Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at London’s Royal Albert Hall. And on Friday he’s at the Manchester v Cancer gig at the MEN Arena. In Moscow former Manchester City star GEORGI KINKLADZE was in the crowd to see his old pal perform. Noel called him “a true Blue legend” before inviting the silky midfield star backstage to join the party. Noel’s campaign to hold on to his Bizarre Caner Of The Year crown is gathering unstoppable momentum. As my exclusive picture of him and Gem shows, they even managed to end up drinking Newcastle Brown ale — in Russia. That’s title-winning form. source: The Sun

That is possibly the worst picture of Noel that I have ever seen.
