From The Sun... EXCLUSIVE Baby joy for Noel and Sara NOEL GALLAGHER and his girlfriend SARA MacDONALD have tumthing to announce — they’re expecting a baby. The couple revealed their news to friends and family yesterday. And pals say they are ecstatic about their impending arrival. Three-months-pregnant Sara has done a blooming good job of hiding her baby bump. She arrived at the NME awards last week looking stunning in a sheer, clingy black dress. But it was the lack of champagne or vodka in her glass which gave the game away. The pair have been dating for seven years. Most of that time they have been living the life of Riley, partying hard and travelling All Around The World. But their little OASIS of relative calm at home will soon be invaded by dirty nappies and interrupted sleep. The arrival will be Sara’s first child. She wanted to wait until after her three-month scan before telling friends and family. Noel has a seven-year-old daughter, Anais, whose mum is his previous partner and ex-wife MEG MATHEWS. A close friend said: “Noel and Sara are really, really happy and excited. “This is something they both wanted but they kept the news to themselves until they were sure everything was OK with the baby. “Neither of them have ever wanted to get married but it felt like the right time to start a family together. “The last seven years have been a lot of fun. “And they have a huge house in the country which is perfect for the kids to be running around. They are both thrilled.” Congratulations Noel and Sara, here’s to many sleepless nights. But I think you should both be used to that already . . .

good for them. but will this mean another 3 years before a new record? It would certainly be a good excuse! Girl or a boy? I'm guessing another girl.

Most of that time they have been living the life of Riley, partying hard and travelling All Around The World here's a more 'subtile' one... and just when you thought it couldn't be out done: Definitely Baby and Kneading on the Shoulders of ClientsOasis boys in most metrosexual day ever, Guardian Unlimited Oasis, the tough lads of rock. The lager-drinking, coke-snorting, photographer-assaulting, pavement-swaggering, Beatles-bastardising brothers are always in the news and never anything less than controversial. Apart from today, that is, when one of them's sired a sprog and the other is set on opening a beauty salon. Firstly, in a piece of breaking news exclusive to The Sun (maybe), Vicky Newton has revealed that Noel Gallagher is having a baby! Or, at least, his girlfriend Sara MacDonald is. Three months gone, the telltale sign apparently came during the NME awards last week, when MacDonald was spotted acting suspiciously; ie enjoying the evening vodka-free. Vicky, by way of standing up her claims, cites the usual insiders and claims that MacDonald recently had her three-month scan. Newton is also, naturally, delighted for the couple. Article continues -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That said, she may not be as delighted as the residents of Belsize Park, who are set to gain a new beauty salon in their neighbourhood, a salon owned by Liam Gallagher. According to the Star, who know salon launches better than anyone else, gravel-throated Gallagher the younger "has snapped up premises in an exclusive suburb of north London." He has done so, the paper claims, in order to console fiancée Nicole Appleton after she lost her recording contract this week: "Liam has told Nicole, and her sister Natalie they can run the salon in Belsize Park, north London, and choose a name for it. Liam also fancies opening a second business - a smoothie bar close to London's Hampstead Heath." This news is so full of possibilities it's like a King Edward potato. What next? The reality show of the boutique? A recipe book of Liam's favourite smoothies? The revelation that, in fact, this whole thing is completely made up?

yeah but he was about 32 the first time in about the biggest band in the world and not getting on with his missus. things are a lot different now. he's 40 years old and has previously stated that the overseas touring would be coming to an end very soon. i think this will be the nail in the coffin. its a sad day to be a canadian oasis fan. rip live oasis. of course i am being extremely selfish by saying all of this, but i dont give a flying fuck about noels personal life. i just wanna be able to go to another gig and get stinkingly drunk.

At what point has he recently stated that overseas touring would end soon? They literally just had their most successful US tour ever both financially and fans wise. The entire band themselves said they've never had so much fun in the U.S...Don't see it happenin!

what a crap title. so, at what time did he stop being a dad then? idiots
and no, even if true it wont really effect Oasis. IT'S HIS FUCKIN JOB, essentially. ALMOST EVERY FATHER WORKS. Noel is no different.
just the media making up shit once again

just read through the responses.
Nova, with all due respect, you're full of shit. Oasis will continue to tour. You narrow minded fool. Football players have children, yet they continue to play and travel across Europe. Other bands have children and still manage world tours. Noel Gallagher has never said "If i have another child, that will be the end of Oasis." But he has said "Don't Believe The Truth."
Noel, Liam, Gem, Andy, and now Zak all love Oasis, they love the music they make, they love their fans. They have children of their own - and that's their personal life. But they remain mad for it, and will continue to for the near future. They have ATLEAST another 5 years left, IF NOT 10. We all know a new album will be released around the 2008 time frame, and probably atleast another album after that! Their music has gotten better since SOTSOG, their more motivated - on the level of their early days, and they now have a growing fan base once again.
So, does it really makes sense for Oasis to fall apart now? NO. Think for once instead of believing the tabloids.
