Maybe the arcade fire, should of gave a better example of force feeding music. Maybe Britney Spears, Beyonce and the rest of the fake teeny pop crap. Now thats, force feeding. And people are smart enough to determine that.

When I saw U2 in October of 2005, they came out to "Wake Up" by Arcade Fire. When i downloaded funeral I went back to the bootleg, and it was the same. lol.

arcane fire are not the future of british rock n roll! lets face it. they aint the new sex pistols or the rolling stones.
or the new led zeppelin or stone roses or the clash.
not the who or the beatles or the smiths.
they dont remotely touch t-rex the libertines,slade or the mighty klf!
their name sounds cool though and probably looks cool on a t-shirt.
ramones looks cooler on a t-shirt though!

i can only hope the man's quote was taken out of context, cuz i dunno about you, but oasis sure as hell isnt rammed down my throat in canada; and while U2 gets some proper air time i definitely wouldnt say their music is force fed especially in comparison to any sort of female, blonde pop-star (i swear, if i fucking hear that avril lavine song again, i just may crash my car into a wall).
since everyone's giving their opinion on the arcade fire, might as well throw mine in as well: sonically and musically they are fucking brilliant, but i cant stand the fuckers voice for a second. plus they look like quakers with instruments, which is just odd i suppose.

the arcade fire are a fine band, no doubt about it, but i can completely see win butler saying some "radioheadesque" like bullshit like that and then doing an about face like a little girl...no offense to little girls everywhere. ne1 who spends that much typespace talking about success is nothing short of being rabidly obsessed with becoming successful. at least 5 of them look like night of the living dead rejects anyway. that was childish.
