www.masterplanforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=26607From The Current Issue "Not just one of the best songs Noel Gallagher has written, Lets All Make Belive is also his most reveaking, betraying a cynicism utterly at odds with the idealist who penned Live Forever. More prescisely, its the anti-acquiesce, reflecting both on his fractious relationship with brother Liam and the acrimony that witnessed founding members Bonehead and Guigsy quit the band during its original recording sessions. That Liam delivers Noel's wounding sarcasm 'Lets All Make Belive we're still friends and we like each other' serves to double the song's poignancy, so too its sombre chords and epic chorus. Reviews of 2000's SOSOG album would have probably carried an extra star had it been included: instead, it was frittered away as the b-side to Go Let It Out. Never played live, and one of the umteen treasures absent from the flawed 'greatest hits' collection STC, this is definitly (not maybe) their great lost classic. Best Bit: 1.02- Liam's desperate cry 'We're Gonna Need Each Other"

This song made its way on my best of Oasis playlist. Sometimes I forget those tracks from the SOTSOG era. Let's all make Believe and Roll it Over are epic.

I never liked the tune, for the same reasons the folks at Q liked it.

I sent my brother an old Oasis mix cd about 2 years ago. He popped it in his car cd player for me the week before Christmas and picked LAMB as his favorite Oasis track. He then asked me where to get it. He was ticked when I told him he probably wouldn't be able to get it in the States anymore. I was pretty surprised that he would remember this track at all, given its mistreatment by the band.

Solve My Mistery is oasis' biggest lost track.. it's no even a b-side! That's because it's appalling.

Great song, fantastic vocals and definitely better than 95% of what went on SOTSOG. Heartbreaking lyrics and a devastatingly beautiful chorus. One of Oasis' best b-sides. Also, I like Solve My Mystery a lot, thought it should've made the album over Little James.

Let's All Make Believe is absolute fucking GENIUS.
I remember just before GLIO was released they premiered the B-sides on the Steve Lamacq show on Radio 1. I taped the show and listened to LAMB over and over again, I couldn't belive how brilliant Liam's vocal was on that tune. It is right up there with Slide Away as one of his best ever.
AWESOME.

Yep. And let's not forget Angel Child or Sad Song, Full On. Every so often I text Virgin radio and ask them to play Full On cos its a good rocking number and so deserves play time. But they never do...

Do these 500 songs have a ranking? Or is just the 500 lost songs in no order?

Should have been a fuckin' single.... it's too good to be out of any album, I dare to say that is better than any song in the SOTSOG, maybe together with gas panic!, but I still think it's an amazing tune, since then Noel haven't write anything so beautiful...

As long as they're playing Keane, there is justification in playing Full On.
