QUEEN has upstaged the Beatles to win the title of greatest British band of all time in a vote organised by BBC Radio.
Queen finished 400 votes ahead of the Beatles when more than 20,000 listeners were asked to choose from among five bands.
The five emerged from a list of thousands. Each group was judged on song-writing, lyrics, live performances, originality and showmanship.
The Rolling Stones came third, followed by Oasis and Take That.
Queen, led by the late Freddy Mercury, had many hits, including Bohemian Rhapsody and We are the Champions.

Exactly why Queen one. Their live performances kicked ass. Just watch their performance at Live Aid back in 85 to see. Other then that, glad to see Oasis at 4th. Is a full list availible?

#1. The UK has WAY to many polls about songs, albums, bands etc. Seems like every other week.
#2. Only 5 bands to choose and Take That was one of them? Where is The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Clash, Sex Pistols, Pink Floyd, The Verve, Coldplay. Who does these things!

Queen are shite, no-one would have gave a shit if they did'nt do live aid, take that would'nt have been there if they did't have there comeback. cant argue with stones, beatles and oasis.

disagree with both Liam and Freddie being the best of all time. In my opinon it's Ronnie James Dio, the greatest sinnger ever who SAVED Black Sabbath when Ozzy was sacked. Yes Queen and Oasis are good but did either group have a saviour in it? not in my mind no. What in the name of elf were Take that on there for?
