Fair enough. The songs picked are, for the most part, the group's best. I have a few quibbles though.

What I don't get is why it has to be capped at only 9 songs per disc? It could at least have been 10 songs per disc, or easily 11 or 12.

Number one, DYKWIM should have been included and so should either Stand By Me or Don't Go Away. I know Noel doesn't like BHN, and I don't like it as a whole that much either. But some of those songs were among their biggest hits and they go nicely with the Morning Glory-era work. I hate it when GH collections neglect an entire album.

And besides the 2 BHN tracks, Whatever should have been included; it's one of their best songs and it's never been released on an album (although I know that Noel hates it).

Also, Gas Panic! should have been on there instead of Go Let it Out.

Those are my only major complaints about non-inclusions. Columbia would have been nice, but I realize that in that case over half of DM would be on the collection and that's pointless. I'd have liked to have Little By Little on there instead of Songbird, and maybe Love Like a Bomb or GGTIA instead of Lyla; maybe Let's All Make Believe or Where did it All Go Wrong in addition to Gas Panic!

i know! i would have been ecstatic if its good to be free was on it, esp cos its not on the masterplan. but yeah, im over it, i've accepted it and am moving on. as noel said, this is more for the casual fan, or an introdcution. its not for any of us so it doesnt matter what we think.
