Outspoken British rocker NOEL GALLAGHER has slammed rap stars EMINEM and 50 CENT for encouraging dangerously high levels of violence in British youths.
The OASIS guitarist hates hip-hop music because of the negative message it gives to fans, and he is convinced the IN DA CLUB rapper and his mentor contribute to society's growing problems.
The SUPERSONIC star says, "I despise hip-hop. Loathe it. Eminem is an idiot and I find 50 Cent the most distasteful character I have ever crossed in my life. It's so negative.
"I'm not saying they are directly responsible, but that's how you end up with these gangs of youths stabbing people. Kids are so thick these days. They're easily influenced."

Noel sounding like an old guy. heh (not a bad thing) But yeah, rock and roll may be about drugs and sex and all that. But it's never been encouraging violence. There is some good hip hop out there that's not hip pop. That's about the music not violence and selling out

what NOEL said is spot on......in rock and roll history how mant deaths were there by rival bands? did bonzo kill moon?? did lennon kill hendrix??? I respect some hip-hop. There's room for all kinds of music. Noel used to enjoy Techno/Trance elements, I think that's way worse than hip-hop.
Funny enough I was at the bank in Harlem today and I noticed 2 big Oasis DBTT posters beside a couple big 50 cent posters.

Mainstream rap is horrible you guys. There are some rap groups that play guitars and drums and bass. Ever hear of the roots? Good band. There's lots of bands that rap about things that don't involved crime and etc. The radio isn't good for showing ya what's good for rock or rap.
