just watching it on VH2, its oasis and coldplay week and chris got the crowd to sing trouble the end of it anyway and after he said "Oasis would be Proud" to which the crowd cheered

They were on the Jonathon Ross show in the UK tonight and played Speed of Sound, In My Place and Fix You, they were all incredible, especially SOS & FY. They certainly performed better than when Oasis did Lyla on Jonathon Ross a few weeks ago.

I question Liam's live vocal capabilities, his vocals are spot on at times and others not so on.

Liam used to be one of the best live performers around from 94-98. Now he unfortunately tends to drag them down, especially on long tours. Its a shame to see how he's fucked up his voice with over indulgences.

If the rest of X&Y is even half as good as speed of sound and fix you then they deserve all the success the album will undoubtedly get. I loved parachutes, thought A Rush of Blood was/is disappointing, but from the sounds of fix you and speed of sound, x&y could be incredible.
