Liam Gallagher has been mouthing off yet again...this time he’s having a rant over the not so rock and roll lifestyle of U2.
Apparently the Oasis frontman heard a story about the Irish band that said the band watch videos of their live shows after they come off stage.
Liam said to the Sydney Daily Telegraph: “Wankers. Haven't they got fuck all better to do? I'd rather be out there getting pissed.
"I certainly wouldn't go back after a gig and analyse it. No wonder they're the biggest band in the world: 'Oh Edge, the fourth guitar solo wasn't right tonight'. 'Oh, sorry Bono'.
"If that's what people think rock 'n' roll is ..."
He added: "This is the best job in the world. It's even better when you're the best rock star.
"I'm the best fucking rock 'n' roll singer this country's ever had."

Liam loves U2, specifically Bono. If you've ever been to a U2 gig no one, other than Liam, soaks up the limelight the way Bono does. Liam's just trying to take the piss out of the lad, but in all honestly he respects him.  |

Why is your karma so terribly low, kalas? i want it low..i asked for people to smite me so some members on here would stop taking it so serious..people on here were actually getting upset that they got smited or didnt have enough "karma" ..please  ..i got so tired of reading those posts i asked for everyone to smite me just to prove how stupid it is ..if this was all good "karma" i would be over +100 ,whoopee ..keep the smites comin please ;D

I've been knocked off line for a bit, but I heard about the U2 comments. I swore people would be all over U2 on this forum. For some reason a lot of people here dislike U2 (or at least Bono). Good to see it hasn't turned into that. Liam was in awe of U2 when Oasis opened for U2 on the Pop tour. You have to take Liam comments for what they're worth. The same guy raves about S Club 7 Juniors.

A little interesting... Who's closer to God, Blur or Oasis? 'Well first of all, I am God. And Liam is my only son. I think they are both good songwriters and everything but I do think that when that guy Liam sings that there is something, there's some sort of ache, as well as the anger, and it's the ache that separates some music from others. It has to be magic. his band are great. He's...he's...he's...I'm very pleased with myself.' 'I like the girlfriend of the guy in Blur. Elastica, she's got a great band. They're good. There bands really want to be great bans and be like the Stones and the Beatles. That's really interesting because in the '80s you were hung for such ambitions and the indie thing really kneecapped rock 'n' roll. I really hope that there are some great bands that come out of this and go all the way. If you are shy and you become a potter, you don't join a rock 'n' roll band. pretty pathetic. liam is spot on when he says "if that's what people think rock 'n' roll is ...", serious comment or not.
if they analyse their live stuff that much, imagine the friggin' tedium of being involved producing a U2 studio album !
