Just opinions so please don't start ranting about how shit BHN is!! I love BHN. Who doesn't except for globe and Noel himself? ;D i love BHN as much as the first ones and Liam likes this album too. it's a good album. still DM is my best oasis album. i just bought DBTT on Friday and i like it. "Part of the queue" is really great tune. one question for people who haven't heard BHN for years.... why don't you give another chance to this album now? you might like it if you listen to it again and Liam has a great taste too

I'll start listening to it tonight, so I should be finished about next Friday.

"Bloated production, overlong, no bass, 1000000000 guitar parts in each song."
Apart from the ridiculous "no bass" comment, the above are all reasons why I like it so much! The length and millions of guitar parts are its most endearing features for me and why I like it as much as any Oasis album.

Its an incredibly uncreative joke about be here now being long. Some people seem to dwell on superficial things like that.

The thing is for me Be Here Now just has so many good songs that the length doesn't come in to it. In fact I love every single track on Be Here Now. And in many cases the length actually does improve them in my opinion, like with All Around The World, which is my fave Oasis song ever. I hear people on here saying they've not listened to BHN for about 5 years and it just fucking blows my mind, because I listen to it more than any other album by any band or artist. Nearly every time I go out in the car I'll put on something off BHN, simply because I can put on any track from it and I know I'll love it.

Though just a quick note, I like 99% of every songs Oasis have ever put out to be honest, on every album. I even like Little James!

For me
Morning Glory 1995 , Definitely Maybe later in 1995 Then everything on the day of release from BHN onwards.
As for which album is best, all a matter of opinion. But I think each of the first 3 could be said to be best in different ways. In my opinion DM is the best "rock" album by Oasis. Morning Glory is best as a "pop" album due to Wonderwall & DLBIA etc. And I think Be Here Now is just a great all rounder, the reason I like it so much is in my opinion it does everything Oasis did best but pumped up. Its like Morning Glory on steroids!!

Great rock songs? Its Getting Better (Man!!), My Big Mouth and Be Here Now. Great ballads? Standy By Me and Don't Go Away are two of their best. Epics? All Around The World, Fade In-Out, DKWIM and I know some people hate it, but I love Magic Pie. And I also love other songs on the album like IHITIK and Girl in the Dirty Shirt.
Just a mind blowing album from start to finish for me.

But like I said before I can listen to all their albums from start to finish without skipping a track. And I can't say that about any other band.
