How big is Oasis in your country??...I know they're untouchable in the UK....but what about Germany, France, Argentina, Brasil, etc, etc....?

They aren't exactly "untouchable" in the UK. They were untouchable in the UK between 1995 and 1997. But neither SOTSOG or HC were in the top 5 best selling albums in the uk in the year of their release.
Its fair to say that in terms of huge tours and stadium shows Oasis are "untouchable" in the UK.

unfortunately there's a north american music invasion here in Brasil... so all we hear is 50 cent, britney spears and linkin park (and evanescence, system of a down...)... oasis got some die-hard fans in here, but it's a band that most people say about "oh, wonderwall is cool", but can't name another song of them...

actually in france oasis are not big at all...except for some good magazines and hardcore fans (me ;D) oasis are seen like "the wonderwall band" which did nothing good since wonderwall  when ppl talk about liam and noel that's to say they drink from morning to morning....they're lazy (6 albums is lazy maybe?? :  and they fight all the time... i also forgot that ppl think they're stupid and a lot of ppl think the band doesn't exist anymore... other randoms comments about oasis: - they invented nothing
- they always do the same song
- they just copy the beatles
everyone knows here that's BS...to sum up: they're not appreciated (wonderwall excepted) but it doesn't matter because music is very dull here and if ppl have such bad taste they dont deserve oasis...  |

hahaha....In canada oasis are decently big i guess but no where near the top of the list of popular rock bands. Atleast thats in Vancouver, dunno about the other side of the country

well in argentina nobody hates them or you don't even know them or you like some of their songs or you have one cd or you are mad fer it ( ) new oasis singles always get to #1 and you can see many people really like them but they are not huge, because most of the people in my country love argentinian rock |

In Trinidad, some people know their old songs like Wonderwall, but most people don't care about them anymore.

Most of the people dont even know about the band around here...
people do know "wonderwall" and like it and "dont look back in anger"...
I have the impression that most of the people that knew about the band in the first place think that theyve split up or think that they called it a day...
They r in the music magazines to some extent and last week there was a couple little mentions of the band in our "metro" tabloid...
my brother told me that when oasis first came to the scene they liked the band-and their songs like "Live Forever"....but then they became too arrogant and the songs started to get borin-
