everyone knows Oasis "steal/borrow" a lot of riffs, melodeys, etc so i was thinking/wondering if aparts from :
Whatever : Octopus's Garden/All The Young Dudes Cigerattes & Alcohol : Bad Mediecne (intro) Be Here Now : Bad Mediecne (intro) Let There Be Love : Isolation Mucky Fingers : Im Waiting For The Man Step Out : Uptight Supersonic : Sgt Peppers Reprise (intro) Shakermaker : Coca-Cola Song Don't Look Back In Anger : Imagine (intro) The Masterplan : Octopus's Garden (ending)
if people could list them so i and others can check them out and see how they compare

OASIS borrow as do everyone else though,,,the beatles sounded like chuck berry early on .the stones stole the black blues of america, every hard rock band steals from ZEP its just how it is , to me OASIS dont borrow more than anyone else they just get critisized more cause they are so vocal and popular,,,jmo

i agree. it pisses me off when ppl slate them for stealing other groups melodies/riffs. u cant be 100% origional today. its all been used. even before the beatles/stones. theres only so many notes/chord changes that u can use. its not delibirate most the time.

Then The Beatles invented their own style and music and so did the Stones.. Oasis are now more than 10 Years old ... And so many tune borrowed on just one album is a bit of a let down.. I love the album and the band Kalas , don't get me wrong , just fed up with blindness and the hype around what's at the end of the day , just a lovely nice Pop- Rock album but no Masterpiece ... But it's just a matter of taste I'm still mad fer it , it was just my opinion

Kalas , for me , Don't Believe The Truth released will always be linked to your posts ... I read so much of them since few weeks , you'll definitely be a part of my memories about the album
And i love DBTT .. Yes , not as much as Morning Glory or Definitely Maybe but i think DBTT is a very fine and decent pop rock album

i see them as more of "tip of the hat" to songs that inspired. The beautiful piano bit right at the end of TIOBI solo is right out of "being for the benefit of Mr Kite" by the beatles.....and i love it for that!
