Bosses at Sony BMG have revealed that the new Oasis album that was leaked over the internet will not be released ahead of schedule.

‘Don’t Believe The Truth’ was leaked last week on the German edition of iTunes and fans from across the globe were able to access the long awaited for album, reports ChartSingles.com.

Other artists whose new material has been leaked have been forced to bring the release date for their albums forward, they have included Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Destiny’s Child.

Copies available to buy on the net will be removed by Sony BMG, they have said: "We have no intention of bringing the release date forward. The situation at both iTunes and eBay is currently under investigation.

"Our concern, of course, is that illegal file-sharers will try to download the album's songs and our response to this would be immediate legal action."

Didnt think they would move it. Hopefully the leak wasnt so bad, seems to me the only mention Ive really seen of it has been on oasisfan sites and Id hope the people on these would purchase the album either way.

Only a few more days any how.
