Been coming to this site for quite a few months now, and can't think of a better first post. They just played GGTIA on Directv, channel 817. It's this Music Choice channel, and it's titled "Alternative". I've heard them play songs from albums that haven't been released before, but never expected it to come from Oasis. I would NEVER lie about something like this and I would have come to the computer quicker, but it's in another room and I wasn't about to miss a freaking second of it.
It's amazing. Liam continues to bring something completely original to Oasis. I don't think it's so much different than anything we've heard from the boys before, but I can't quite think of anything to compare it too. The end, the very end, lifted me off my seat. It was short (the end part I'm talking about) but it came out of no where. If any song leaves you wanting just a little bit more, it's this one.

And another thing. It would be one thing if I got on here, said I heard the song, and started bashing it for no good reason, revealing myself as nothing but a pathetic, nothing-better-to-do Oasis hater, but I'm not doing it. The song was great. I don't know how they got it, but they played it. This is kind of like the critics and program director's over here that tell you Oasis sucks "because". What do you say to that. Nothing. You walk away knowing your better off.
That song made my week, and I can't wait for May 31st.

i know that channel . my gf work in the music choice channel . yeah i believe him , although my gf havent tell me anything about it . but that channel does play songs from albums that havent been release . so yeah i think he did listen to it . i heard it too ( only from the crappy clip though  ) |

Those music cable channels that play the songs and give some description are pretty cool. You can break it down to almost any genre possible and there is a channel for it.
They always play unreleased stuff.
May 31st seems forever from now.

step 1: begin by registering on a new fansite where u are previously unknown and therefore have no credibility.
step 2: start new post claiming to have heard a song/album that no one else has heard
step 3: claim u heard it on a random, barely heard off station
step 4: insert mandatory "I dont care if u dont believe me cos Im the biggest Oasis fan ever I've been to every gig ever/ I own everything they've ever done/ I was there when Noel was born/when liam took his first steps" line
step 5: give a review of it using broad and sweeping terms such as "its like nothing Ive ever heard before so I cant compare it to anything" or "it ended in a way that left u wanting more"

I didn't hear it, so I couldn't give a damn whether or not somebody who I've never heard of has. It really doesn't matter and this shouldn't the subject of an argument. |
