8 songs from the new album will be played with 11 "classic tracks" and a cover. Sounds like Supersonic's heading for the dustbin and possibly Acquiesce aswell My Generation's still the cover version to close the gigs! Be interesting to see which songs they keep...

I want something bsides My Generation. I want something by the Stone Roses maybe. I've always wanted to hear a Roses track live. And since the Roses are gone, the next best thing would be Oasis doing it

Gas Panic, Hung in a bad place, Bring it on down and Fade in-out would be cool I´m also happy that they will do My generation, what a great tune it is.. And fucking great that they will play so much new tunes! I don´t mind if there would be also even more those...

Someone said on the webcast why not cover the ace of spades by motorhead on the tour and at first noel dismissed it but then seemed intrigued by the idea and said you never know? Now we all know the my generation tune but im abit bored of that, i think the ace of spades would be an awesome cover imagine liam roaring out them vocals now that would be rock n roll my friend! cheers doggboy10

That would be awesome, I can just imagine Liam singing that to be honest, Should I Stay or Should I Go would be another mega cover aswell! I'd like to see at least one cover amongst the B-Sides because Oasis covers are always mega, quite often preferable to the originals IMO.

I certainly hope they still do DLBIA...
I'd also like She's Electric, Gas Panic, SCYHO, Songbird, and Cast No Shadow, but Noel has already said that they won't do that one (but didn't he once say they'd never do Wonderwall live again? LMAO)

Feck! No Supersonic , My favourite Oasis tune. Noel seemed to be tempted by thought of doing Ace of Spades. I think it would be belting, and i'm also geeting a bit tired of My Generation.

There is no way in hell that they would leave DLBIA off of the setlist.

19. Champaigne Supernova...or Whatever would be killer 20. Whatever cover they choose...hopefully I am The Walrus....i have seen helter skelter, walrus and generation and walrus is just so fuckin classic....however i think the should fuck the cover and kick it with rock and roll star
this isn't my dream set list or anything cos that would include probley 3/4 b-sides haha...but i think this makes the most sense for a casual fan...and i can see it going something like that......i chose to not inclue guess god thinks i am abel, part of the queue and keep the dream alive not because i don't like them just for lack of fitting....not sure how abel would come off live??
it would be great to hear eyeball ticker live...that sounds really good...but they dont play b-sides anymore

Good to hear some news about the setlist as they interest me alot for some reason. Can i ask how you know about this please LIVERPUDLIAN? Did he mention them on the live webcast? I ask because I haven't saw that yet. Well, i'm not gonna get into my ultimate set list as i have done that a few times, lol and i have not heard the new songs yet...yes it's killing me but i said i was gonna wait so i will... I have thought for a while that they won't play Supersonic as they have only ever dropped it for the Brotherley Love tour with the Black Crowes and i heard Noel say he is tired of playing certain songs, i Supersonic falls into that bracket and i also think that Cigarettes & Alcohol will be dropped, don't ask me why i just have a feeling. I'd love a short acoustic set but i don't think it will happen...Noel seems a tad uncomfortable about playing an acoustic set at open air gigs which most of the upcoming tour is. Btw, i think it just goes to show the faith the band have in the new album as they have chose a suprisingley large 8 songs from it to play on the tour...i mean you compare that with the 3 or 4 they played at Wembley for the SOTSOG tour then i think it tells you alot about the album really and the faith the band had in it. I can put people's fears to bed right now and tell you i'd bet a large amount of money that Don't Look Back In Anger will played, along with Morning Glory, Columbia, The Hindu Times and despite what some have said, i'm pretty sure Acquiesce will be played. Also i'm not too suprised about the news that Wonderwall might be binned but i think they will decide to play it in the end. Just 2 more things, I'd really like a new opener, well at least a change from Fuckin In The Bushes...it would be awesome to hear The Swamp Song re-introduced...especilly with all the open air gig on the tour! Finally, the cover version...which i supposed will end the set. Please not My Generation...i know it's a great song and i think Oasis covered it superbly especially at Glastonbury but we need something else for this tour. I feel it's time to move on from I Am The Walrus although, again, a great song which Oasis cover well...but...i like the idea of The Ace Of Spades or a brand new cover but i would like them to finish again with Come On Feel The Noise, once again it would be great at the open air gig like when they ended the set at Maine Road with it, which was awesome! Anyway...can't wait for the album and the tour to start...roll on the 10th of July in Milton Keynes! jobero.
