I remember him singling out "Whatever" and "Round Are Way" as some of his favorite songs in old interviews. Interesting that he would now say he really dislikes them. But I guess everyone's music interests change. He probably thinks a lot of his early stuff is too "immature" now. A lot of artists do come to dislike their early work. Witness how Lennon hated so much of what he put out - including some excellent songs.
Any thoughts?

Think about how many times he's played those songs...on top of the number of shows they've played, practicing, even just the number of takes they probably did to get those songs down on record...I'd be sick of the songs too.
Hell, my band just did a 3 song EP and i'm ready to throw the damn songs out the window i'm so tired of hearing them. I'm sure it would be that times 50 with Oasis...
