I don't like it very much It's funny because Liam has always said that he likes it when the band is on the cover. I guess he didn't get his way this time. But, I don't care about the cover - as long as the album is good! That said, atleast there is a theme to the album and single, too. |

it alternates b/c I think noel doesn't like the band on the cover and liam does
DM - band, MG -no band, BHN -band, SOTSOG - no band HC - band DBTT - no band ------next one will have the band.
Relatedly, wil lthere be a next one? I remember liam saying oncehe'd do six albums and then he's off, corse this was I dunno at least 7 years ago

You have four posts. You MAY be a true fan, but all I have to go on is the fact taht you ahve 4 posts. Now what hurts albums sales, people leaking tracks to people who might otherwise buy the album but once they have it donwloaded don't bother - would it seem like you are this kind of person - yes! - am I going to give them to you? NO! - ANYONE WHO UPLOADS OR DISTRIBUTES THE TRACK IS PART OF THE PROBLEM - unless you know that they are true fans - and you can't over the internet

Ah come on, give him the links. The tracks must all over soulseek/kazaa/emule and what programs do ya have by now? Or are they that exclusive? I never asked for any but I got the links pm'ed anyway. I d/led them but I haven't listened yet hahaha! My first listen will be in full quality pumping on my own stereo!  edit: Oh yeah about the cover: My favorites are pre SOTSOG. dont like the cover much....its kinda dull. HC was nifty and all but it would've been nice to alternate and make DBTT have some colour.
in any case it doesnt matter much, cos its all about the MUSIC!

Haha well glad to know someone is. I think this album cover is great, not their best or my favorite, but it fits the album, the attitude theyve had about the tracks so far, and the band pretty well.
Seems to say here it is, take it or leave it.

Out of curiousity, can you please define an 'exciting' album cover? I wouldn't say you want it to be "exciting" so much as "interesting". The sleeves for DM, (WTS)MG?, even BHN, with its rock star excess splashed all over the front, were interesting to look at. Maybe when I've got the actual sleeve in front of me and can pick out details, shadings or whatever I'll like it more but at the moment it just looks like a black and white photo of some garage doors. It's one thing to have a mundane location (like Bonehead's front room or Berwick St), but if you have the band looking cool there or an arresting bit of action going on, you can get away with that. This is just sort of... there. Don't want to be a downer about it, am really looking forward to the record, but the cover image is not rocking my socks off at the moment. |

why black and white? that won't catch any eyes. my personal fave is sotsog and you can recognize that from a mile away, the colors just distinguish it.
only a cover though
