actually, in one review, mucky fingers was said to be the weakest track. so if it is any good....then there's definitely something to look forward to. but a couple people who heard it said that it was weird...but good. so i don't know.
- cheers !

No. It seems that 99% of people who heard that announcement had a hearing blank after Vernon Key said Monday and missed the words "23rd May" which followed it.

I remember Noel saying that there was a perfect song for the first single but Noel sang it, so they choose Lyla... I believe the song was Mucky Fingers because Part Of The Queue is supposed to be really different for anything Oasis had ever done, and The Importance Of Being Idle is a ballad, so I guess MF must rock...

the song that was planned to be a single that Noel sang was "I Stand Alone". it wasn't mucky fingers. what happened to "I Stand Alone" ? it either disappeared with Stop the Clocks or it will be another b-side that's great. so yea . . .
- cheers !

if mucky fingers is released as a single it will absolutely bomb. i like the tune, but it just doesn't work as a single. after you hear it you'll know what i mean. lyla was by far a better choice. by far.
