Hahaha! If they release an album with just burps and farts I'd still buy it! Oasis is Oasis and alway will be Oasis and that's why it is so cool to be an Oasis fan. ;D

All true… though I remember 8 - 10 years ago when Oasis could do little wrong in the eyes of the NME (or the now defunct Melody Maker).
But look, Coldplay are the hot Brit mega-band of the moment. Their position is somewhat like Oasis in 1997, on the verge of releasing BHN — EVERYONE wants to know what the album sounds like, how well it will do, etc. There will probably be some Oasis vs. Coldplay nonsense, and I have a feeling our side will get slammed (not that I hate Coldplay by any means, but you all know who I prefer). But the points everyone has made above are true. If I can go back in time 5 years, around the SOTSG era, it was Travis who was getting all the attention, Travis who had captured the public's imagination, Travis who was the hot new thing. Travis was supposed to "replace" Oasis. Well, Travis 4th album didn't do much, and 5 years and 2 albums later (albums which even the hardcore fans debate whether or not they're any good), Oasis STILL sells out stadiums and sees their albums hit #1 (in the UK, at least).
There ya go. Don't let the Coldplay vs Oasis crap get you down. The press if just trying to sell papers (and besides, we know that behind the scenes, the bands like each other, despite Liam calling Chris' wife a "gawky bird.")

Are the two albums of Coldplay as good as DM o WTSMG, the 2 first albums of Oasis Coldplay have songs as Wonderwall, DLBIA, Live Forever or Slide Away It's obvious. Nor Clodplay nor other fucking band in the whole world have it!! Please, All the b-sides of Oasis are much better than the soporific songs of Coldsleep. The critics are fucking twits who say Oasis is dead. Will Chris Martin someday write songs as Gas Panic, Stand by me, or SCYHO, songs that belong to the "dead Oasis era"?? OF COURSE NO! I have listened "Talk" and it's the same shit they play always. God Save Oasis
