So I've never seen Oasis before. They cancelled their date in Pittsburgh back in 2000 when I actually did buy tickets, and i'm curious about the best method to get good tickets. I'm probably going to drive to the Blossom Center in cleveland, which I've seen radiohead at twice. The first time we somehow managed to get seats under the "shelter"...the last time I got "pit" tickets by going through their fanclub.
Is there any way to get really close tickets other than buying them the second they go on sale through ticketmaster?

Eh, fuck that.
I bought them from the presale and I'm in the second section back on the left side...close enough to see whats going on...
I would've preferred to be on the right so I could be closer and see whats up with noel, but beggars can't be choosers.
I'm not totally nuts about seeing them...from what I've seen of live video, they put on an amazingly bland live performance...the exciting bit is getting to see them with that many people and the setlist more than anything. So I'm happy with those tickets for $100.
I remember when I saw Radiohead two summers ago, I bought tickets through their fan club. They had this presale with a countdown to the sale and even though their site said the sale started at 8am, the countdown was to 6am. So i woke up extra early and was able to get Pit tickets right up front for $45. I only bought one, which was the biggest mistake ever...at the show folks were saying they paid $350 for tickets up there on ebay. I could've made a fortune.

Jump on EBAY. I payed $399 for 7th row floor seats at MSG. It's the price you pay for good seats.
