What are Oasis's 5 most underrated songs?
I say they are:
1.Married With Children
2.Good to be free
3.Underneath the Sky
4. Going Nowhere
5. It's Getting better man
I aint saying they arent good, they are awesome, but they just arent that famous.

1. Underneath The Sky, it's my favourite ever song!
2. Sad Song
3. Carry Us All
4. The Swamp Song
5. The Masterplan
The last two are for the casual Oasis fan to forget I reckon. Perhaps Sad Song falls into that category as well.

it's getting better man
gas panic! - one of my all time favourites... this is how i got deep into oasis.. i knew some classics, like CS, Wonderwall and Stand by Me... but gas panic! made me realise there was more to them than wonderwall...

mine would have to be :
Talk Tonight - love that song! so simple but so great!
Idler's Dream - few ever talk about it and when i do hear people say sumthing, they usually dislike it. i think it's top notch!
Hey Now - love the lyrics to that song.
Roll it Over - that song is soo great.
Hello - such an awesome song and a great opening track.

2) Talk Tonight
3) Fade Away
4) Rockin' Chair
5) Cloudburst
If by forgettable you mean forgettable (albums only)
1) Digsy's Dinner
2) Little James
3) Magic Pie
4) She Is Love

1 - D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman? (IMO the best thing Noel's ever recorded)
2 - Flashbax (very close second)
3 - (I Got) The Fever (superb, simple as)
4 - I Hope, I Think, I Know (how this hasn't been a live staple for years is a mystery)
5 - Idler's Dream (how this was ommited from HC for distinctly average songs like Force of Nature and She Is Love is beyond me)

When i saw the thread title i thought this was going to be more along the lines of 5 worst Oasis songs, lol. Anyway, In no particular order: 1) D'yer Wanna Be A Spaceman; I make sure i hear this at least once a week, great call KingsOfLeon. 2) (You've Got) The Heart Of A Star; Beautiful song and he has only played it live once. 3) Fade Away; Great rock n roll song but i think Noel's acoustic version he played in Blackpool 1995 blows my mind. 4) Married With Children; The real un-sung track on DM. Great hearing Noel bring it back on the HC tour. 5) Roll It Over; A real shame it has never been played live. Great song to end an album. |
