Ok, so I work in a lumber yard at a home hardware. its liek home depot for you americans And it was really nice out today so it was really busy. And lots of customers means lots of assholes. the number of assholes today was astounding! and every 45 seconds i heard on my radio "customer service to propane please" and this girl who calls it out has a REALLY annoying voice. So I was closing tonight and we were supposed to be closed at 6:00pm but because we had so many customers we were closed by 6:30. so when everything was closed up, I was walking back to the yard office, where we have a radio. Then I heard it. "hey Lyla" sang liam on the radio. it took me a couple of seconds to recognize the song because I had my mind on other things. Then the other guy who was in the office turned off the radio and packed up his stuff. hes older than me but i've been working there longer, so I was yard manager today. so instead of asking him to turn back on the radio, i thought i have to hear this in my car (parents minivan which i took to work). so i was running to the main store and my feet hurt so much because i had been on them all day, but i didnt care. I left the back door to the store open because the other yard guy still hadnt come in yet. so I ran upstairs to our lunch room and clocked out. then ran backdown stairs, quiclky saying goodbye to the girl with the annoying voice and out to my car. I jumped in and started the car just as the solo was starting. then pumped it, rolled down the windows and tore out of the parking lot. I'm sure some doors wer left unlocked and i'll probably hear about it on monday, but that doesnt matter now I thought. I was honking to all the people on the sidewalk on the drive home. so I was approaching my house, the song was on the 3rd last chorus and I was absolutely screaming "HEY LYLA" along with the song. as I was about to turn in, there were two girls on their bikes waiting at the front of my driveway waiting to cross the street. when the noticed I was gonna turn into the driveway they were waiting at, they quickly got out of the way and said "sorry!" to me. but i was still screaming "Hey LYLA!" and they gave me a weird look as they peddled off. I got out of the car, and I couldnt remember why i thought I had such a bad day. then i thought, "Oh yea, I'm f'in mad fer it!" The radiostations website has their playlist online. I checked it when I got in and lyla is in the medium rotaition, where all new songs start. www.thewolf.ca/playlist/I'mm gonna keep requesting it, and you can too on the contact us tab. and that my friends, is my oasis story

Wow you're like exactly who Noel was talking about when he said he wrote songs for people who were like, working and having a bad day.
I mean for goodness sakes your feet are hurting like it's the Middle Ages or something-- if a song can make you feel good, then like, that's good.
