Ok but what happens if OASIS don't get played in Nashville?
Oasis will keep making records, and they'll still be rich. So..................what is the point, exactly? I mean, to what end?

i was in nashville last summer and i went to a bar imaginatively named 'Bar Nashville' Great place, the barmaids are fit, get up on the bar and pour alcohol down their tops whilst caressing each other at one point during the night ;D however, I got so drunk I got up on the bar, starting dancing myself and had the police called on me. apparently I had two officers holding me up as my mates talked them out of taking me down the station... I was lucky they didnt....

But why? I mean, consider the following, which are all of the things that will happen regardless of whether or not Oasis are played in Nashville:
1. You will here the song.
2. Other people who like OASIS will hear the song (in fact, many of them probably downloaded it already).
3. Oasis will keep making records.
4. We will keep downloading them illegally and listening to them before they come out and then buying them when they come out.
Ok. So, logically now, what will happen ONLY IF OASIS ARE PLAYED IN NASHVILLE that is worth the effort it takes to get them played in Nashville?

Uh ok so if you go to the doctor and he stabs you in the eye and you ask why and he says:
"cause I'm madferit!"
That's good enough for you? I mean, that's not an explanation. It doesn't even make any sense.
It's like, Tony Blair going "I invaded Iraq cuz I'm madferit! MADFERRITTTTT!"

Everyone loves to rile you up Kalas. ;D j/k hehe. Actually Nashville is really only known for country music and it seems that Rap has taken over as well. I have been there recently and it is amazing how the scene is really influenced by rap and hiphop. I would love to hear Oasis in Nashville but i am not sure it would happen. I have to use my CD player when in that area. The radio is horrible. I feel bad for Oasis fans in that area. We think we have it bad in NY with radio play.

That's what I'm saying is if people in Nashville wanna listen to like, country or rap. What exactly do you think is gonna happen if you get OASIS played once?
Like, after all this effort, you get OASIS played in Nashville and suddenly the whole culture of the South is gonna change? It's country like, I can't even name any country singers but that's what they like. And everybody else likes rap. So...you have no shot in Nashville.
It's like George W. Bush trying to win an election in like, Manchester. I mean, that's basically what you're doing. You're like, starting a campaign for George W. Bush to become mayor (or whatever) of Manchester even though everybody there hates him. It's pointless, and it's just not worth your effort.
But even more importantly, NOEL and LIAM and OASIS don't give a fuck about NASHVILLE so why should you???

Oasis has had difficulties in the US regardless of what city. ( or at least that is what the media likes to say- i think tickets sales prove otherwise) Nashville is probably not there biggest fan base, but they still have fans everywhere. Isn't that what matters most.

Everybody already downloaded it off the computer. And any OASIS fan can just buy the single off the computer for goodness sakes it's the 21st century. Like, information superhighway and all that.
LOL He doesn't have to start an email campaign to hear the song. All he (or any other oasis fan has to do) is double click on it.

I have done the same in the NYC area. My company has policies against streaming radio off the internet at work, so local radio is all i have. Jeez, no offence Wash, but really your points are a bit overkill.
