White was sacked because it seems it's his fault Heathen Chemistry leaked on-line before it was released..

That seems like an unlikely reason for firing him. Whether or not it leaked beforehand, that album is still shite outside of a handful of tunes (and before you give me hell for making this my first post, I've been lurking for weeks and HC pales in comparison to anything they released prior, except maybe "Little James")

Shortly after he left someone on oasisforum.com said that as a joke. It may have traveled on from there, but that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't true.

I wonder how Noel would have reacted if Bonehead had instituted a drinking ban in 1995. That's just F'd up. I mean, so the guy wanted a drink! They might as well have been drunk anyway putting LITTLE JAMES on the album. And FITB over LET'S ALL MAKE BELIEVE? Come on!

Whitey was fired, but apparently "lost the plot". Was just sick of touring and being in a band.

I think he'll be missed by the true die hard fan. He was an important component to the Oasis of 95/96. That's when they were at their height in popularity.

Oasis are a band now. When guigs, boney, alan were in it they were a gang.
To be honest, i prefered it that way but they couldn't carry on with Boney, guigs.

Good point. Like the band now as far as the shit theyre creating but I do miss the swagger of the gang and their attitude.
And as far as tryin to stop the drinking I think Liam commented that he didnt even remember recording DM.
