so most of us have seen the new video now, and most seem to be saying it's brilliant (..........case of "wanting it to be good so much, that no matter how bad it is i'll convince myself it's good" type of thing??)
Face it people, it was awful
just terrible
still a great song mind you

I'm not with either extreme.
I thought it was average. More geared for younger people and new fans instead of us but it's not unlikable at all.

I understand that everybody has their own tastes, as far as what they like. Terrible, however, is a strong word to use.
The cinematography is great. The band looks awesome. It has kind of a retarded storyline - if one wants to even call it that - but all in all it wasn't terrible.
Personally, I liked it. I think it can attract new fans in America if it ever gets played here.

i think that its pretty cheesy. i mean afterall a rock and roll circus- alright but having the people in costumes jump around in front of the camera was a bit weird. Plus did anyone see that fat guy with the orange or whatever in his mouth? odd.
i think some of oasis' best vidoes are the simple ones where the band just plays. personally the hindu times was fine for me. i dont think this is the best by a long shot.

too popy for oasis, i just loved the hindu times video, cos it was pure oasis just playing, but this seems more of a disney cinderrela video than an oasis video

I'd rather see a childlike Oasis than just more of the moody stuff we've had over the last two albums. Getting back to their optimistic side.

how can u say that video was terrible!? the hindu times video was boring after the first 3 times i saw it if seen lyla a bunch and stil liek watching it. Its also the type of video that will catch on in the US i think. It fits the song nicley imo

THis is something OAsis hasnt done in a while, this album is adding up to be pretty great. Oasis are looking very optimistic, why feel depressed while listening to their songs?

I just don't think the song's all that great. It needs to be kicked up a notch after that little solo. They're going for a catchy first single... and that's what it is. Not the best stuff Oasis has done by any means. The video's cool enough... nothing too great. Where Did It All Go Wrong was by far the coolest video... Anything on SOTSOGs was brilliant... videowise.

its alright. dont think it terrible, but i dont reckon its brilliant either.
i dont know...it seemed a bit of a contrived psychadelic video as opposed to actually feeling that way. i dunno why....i didnt get the whole subplot with the girl -.- seemed rather fake.
but, i loved the guys in the video. thought they looked fuckin cool =) so i liked that. i have to say, i havent seen many oasis videoclips, but its such an improvement fromt eh horrible paisley shirts in the supersonic video or one of the ones from DM!!
i know image has got nothing to do with the music, but its still nicer to ssee them looking cool and sharp in their snazzy clothes.
ooooh!yes, i thought the dont believe the truth reference at the end looked bloody awesome! like, it had some meanign. prolly not...just a plug for the album...but its like, you dont have to believe in the reality or somehting. lol, or maybe thats just me analysing it too much.

I thought the Video was pretty lightweight.
Would been better just doing it on the stage without all the poncy plot shit.
Nearly as bad as Little by Little.
Still the best band PERIOD.
