I think definitely Lyla
Hindu Times has shit production, you can't hear the drumming and terrible lyrics
Lyla doesn't have a riff, but the productions clean, I like the last 40 seconds part, liams voice sounds great and it feels more genuine

i dunno, i think the hindu times is pure oasis
the album production may be dodgy at best... but its pure quality anyway, and live its taken to a whole new level (which imo makes are the best oasis tunes, the ones that are great on the album, but even better when played live)
the tunes are kinda similiar aswell, with the driving B Chord.
i think i like hindu better at this point, BUT, and this is a very big but, i ain't heard the actual album version (quality should be better) and we'll see what it sounds like played live before we all make final judgement...
what do you think?

i don't see why everyone likes Hindu Times all that much.I'm not trying to start anything....i just think out of all of their songs that Hindu Times is one of the weakest. But thats just my opinion. I think it's kinda boring and the lyrics are weak. I think Lyla is lightyears ahead of Hindu Times. Hindu Times live mite be a different story....but i've never had the chance to see them live before. I think if there's any comparison it should be Lyla against Go Let it Out. I liked Go Let it Out more when I first heard it. But i do think Lyla is better. It's a lil different vibe with mega lyrics.
- cheers !

Can't decide yet.
Hindu Times lyrics are awesome. I love the fucking "In and out my brain running through my veins, you're my sunshine, you're my rain"
Hindu Times would go with my all time favorites, but there isn't a solo. And I adore solos

**guitar virgin** but does it not mean relative to capo, and on the topic of guitars wtf is a semetone? no probs, it's technically b... but if you where telling some one how to play it, you would say a with capo on 2nd fret. semitone is a half step, ie. from a to a#, or b to c. One place on the fretboard I suppose

Prefer Lyla without a shadow of a doubt. Hindu times isnt a bad tune but it didnt make me feel anywere near as excited when i heard it for the first time as Lyla did. When i first heard Lyla on wedneday it sent a shiver down my spine and I can tell you that hasnt happend for a long time. Really expect them to deliver on this next album ive just got a feeling its gonna be something very special.

I love Lyla but it took a lot of listens (and I listened to it a lot ) for me to stop feeling there was something missing, so if I had to choose I would go with... damnit I can't choose. ;D
