I think we all had it on Tuesday so where have you been??? Probably on the Gorillaz forum Hi. Thank you for not swearing at me. I'm not very good with computers. I am younger than Noel but older than Liam. I just like to play guitar. I used to be in a band beford I grew up and all that... I dig Oasis because it reminds me of younger days before deadline and committment and mortgages and all that shit when I used to get drunk and high and play and fight. And then she walked in and I didn't stand a chance, it was all over in four weeks. But I love her so. But I relive my glory days through Oasis and it takes me back, you know? I just chat on Oasisinet because it takes me a long time to figure out how to use these things. My name was Solm8 there. I like this forum though. Is Contom on here ?

It hit No. 1 in Canada, but I have no idea what the record sales were. These guys just... I want the Sex Pistols and I get... the Irish Rovers. Hopefully the album is Okay. I'll buy it anyway but I'd hate like hell to have to put a bag over my head in the lineup.

Oh my God! Lyla is awful. It's horrible. Absolutely horrible. I'm absolutely shattered. This is the nail in the coffin. They'd better get on their knees and get their rhythm section back. Who in the hell told them the song was any good? They'd better pull that off the playlist and f__king quick! What in the heck is the matter with them? Yeah. You sound like a real douche bag. Go listen to your Britney Spears album.

its a grower eh solm8?
i wasn't as negative as you were when i first heard the song but i certainly felt that it was missing something. it felt like it wanted to (Or needed to) explode but just didn't. Also the 'SFM melody lift' at the beginning of every verse line connected the song very stongly to the rolling stone classic and kept it, initially, from developing its own unique identity. but three or four day of multiple listens has greatly increased my appeal for the song. It's catchy as hell. It just seems to bounce along so confidently. Finally the group has jelled and they don't seem to be trying so hard.
according to the dutch gallagher review this was not one of the best songs on dbtt (he rated it a six (or 6.5) after two listens-i probably would have been somewhere near that after my first two listens but after i would give it an 8) so it should sit in very well on the album.
btw, i find myself listening to its a crime all the time and trying to imagine how great the finished product is going to sound.
but yeah back to lyla its a grower don't you think? i think i'll put it on right now... ;)l

Get in your dinghies, paddle on over to the big land, and come and get high, buy yourself some land and grow some pot and get a life Brits.
The best left and you can too. There's room for all of you. We've got the best weed, beer and now we're tops in the pops. So come on over, you're all welcome.

Why take the crappiest song on the album and say, here -- it's all great after this one, take our word for it -- bullocks! It's all crap. No one releases the worst song on the album. Play -- Up In This Town -- and enjoy ! Cheers. www.boytheband.com/home.phpI don't know where the fuck all money's gone ! Classic lyrics. Classic. They were so stoned when they wrote this... beautiful. Too bad Oasis quit the drugs and alcohol.

"It's a Crime" is going to be on the album ? or are you saying you'd like to hear a finished product of it ? It's a crime and Let there be Love are the same song from the demos that first surfaced around the release of SOTSOG Apparently, Noel reworked this song and everyone that has heard it has claimed it was the best (or at least one of the best) oasis songs ever. and solm8 i would disagree with you when you say that groups should release their best song first. imo lf, columbia and sa were the best songs on dm lf was the third single and the other two were never released as a-sides. sms and rwi were the first two singles off wtsmg but ww, cs, dlbia were all argualbly better then the first two releases.
