Anyway, my question is, if you have met noel or liam, have you asked them a question, that you consider something that impressed them? Or brought up a certain subject that you know is something an Oasis fan would really want to know.

Anyway, my question is, if you have met noel or liam, have you asked them a question, that you consider something that impressed them? i actually met them together after the radio city gig with the crows . i was with a drummer buddy of mine whos a session drummer and he knew some cats and anyway i got backstage i had on my old "brother" MAN CITY kit on and NOEL was like what does a big yank know about CITY and when i told him how much i knew about city he was impressed..it only lasted like 2 minutes but it was cool  |

it was fuckin cool ,but dont get me wrong it was literally like 2 minutes..LIAM was not talkin and NOEL was very cool i talked footy for a bit said hopefully city will get promoted and that was it .. but i will never forget it |

You know, i am not sur if i really wanna meet Oasis!
Dont get me wrong, they make song great music. But i just wouldnt want to risk them being complete assholes, cuz then i will probly hate them. Has that happend to anyone?

I've talked to Noel quite a few times during the last 2 tours of the states. I have been able to get all access passes for the last couple tours, so he doesnt know me, but once he sees you standing around show after show he is a little more open. Other than asking him how they chose the encore to do with the Crowes, it was basically just small talk. I asked him about a book he had with him and he just gave a quick funny remark.
Gem, on the other hand, is an absolute chatterbox. He's by far the best one to talk to if you have a chance. I've got loads of pics with Gem and Noel. When Gem played with Weller in Toronto I saw him after the show and he actually remembered me, not my name, but what we spoke about a year earlier.
Other than once asking me to hand him a bottle of water and posing for a few pics, Liam said next to nothing to me in the 15 or so times Ive been in the same room.
Backstage is the worst place to try and talk to them. They're normally with the openers having a beer or inside their dressing room and that is locked and has a guard outside it. You gotta get them at their hotel, a radio show while their song is being played, at a pub if you get really lucky, or just get really lucky and hit them at a truck stop or something.
I have passes for the upcoming tour and Im working with the record company to get a 10 minute interview for my magazine, but we'll see. They are 100% absolute gentleman though.

THanks! dude be creative  ..check out the local bars where the sound crew will most definatly be found..they tend to have a few at a local ,then chat them up ,u may score a pass ,i drank with OASIS and WELLERS SOUND GUYS here in nyc and it works |

Liam was too invloved with the ladies - a girl asked if she could have his sunglasses and his reposes was - it depends on what you got in the house down there!
