Noel Gallagher has laid into drug-addled rocker Pete Doherty for being too soft.
The Oasis guitarist is adamant the troubled Babyshambles frontman wouldn't be able to cope with life in his hard rocking band.
Gallagher said, "Listen son, you wouldn't last a rehearsal in Oasis. You'd be injecting washing up liquid into your sphincter within half a f**king hour."
The 37-year-old also blasts Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for resurrecting Embrace's career by writing their latest smash hit “Gravity”.
He says, "I don't know what the f**k he's doing writing songs for Embrace - but Chris can write a song."
Oasis new album “Don’t Believe The Truth” is released on 30th May, preceded by a single “Lyla” on 16th May.

that lead singer has the most depressing, bland and basically shite voice i have ever heard

I dont want Oasis and coldplay to get into a fight.
Liam was a dick when he took the piss out Chris for looking like a geography teacher especially after chris had just said heaps a nice stuff about liam and songbird.
I mean liam does look a lot cooler then chris but chris can write songs a lot better then liam

I have to agree with Noel on this one... pete doherty is one hell of a musician... Libertines was fuckin mad and the only reason why hes gonna crash and burn is cos he can't control his drug addiction... hes really gotta clean his act up yeah. its such a shame, i really like the libertines. i havent heard any of his stuff with babyshamble or whatever, but i cant see it being as good and on embrace. i havent heard anythign apart from gravity which i quite liked. it figures that it wasnt written by them -.- and yeah, he was praising chris' writing abilities, hardly constitutes as blasting him |

I have Embrace's debut album and I quite like it. I haven't heard any of their other stuff but I'm surprised at the sentiment against their music here . . . hes really not a fan of embrace, well they were the first "oasis tribute band" I thought they were together and putting out stuff long before Oasis had their first record deal? |

nah u cheeky get, im not going on my own , the reason im going is cus a girl in my klass is a fan and she "wanted" someone to go with and i offered my services, and i think wish em all away, looking as you are and ashes are all great songs , but gravity is reli bland, was gud for a while but has lost its effect imo
