Lyla is obviously going to be a good single. Oasis has not released bad singles, and it's really hard for rock bands to release bad singles nowadays.
But if Lyla is good, it is not exactly a good barometer of how good the album is.
Hindu Times is obviously a mega single, but i'm not too fond of the album that followed it. Just a thought.
Just my two cents...I'm excited as anyone though.

sure lyla is gonna be a good single.
i agree with ya that the single doesnt say how good the album is. heathen chemistry was great, but its kinda hard for the rest of the album to follow the a hard hitting song like the hindu times.
