Guess God Thinks I’m Abel - a spellin mistake by liam or whoever is in charge of media correspodence? Or is it something deeper?
Biblically, Abel and Cain were brothers. Cain, in a fit of jealousy, murdered Abel. Is liam likening himself to Abel? If we follow this logic, that would make Noel, Cain. Does liam feel that Noel is jealous of him? Or in some way Noel has 'murdered' him? Or does he think that God favours him over Noel?
Or am I readin too much into a spellin mistake/ liam's illiteracy?

and then there's my theory: andy bell has silently taken over the band, and he is trying to work his surname into the album by 'suggesting' words and titles as much as possible, and this ('guess god thinks i'm a bell') was one of the least insane ways, despite being essentially insane. i bet andy put gem up to that 'a bell will ring' business. i mean by now we all know andy has fascist tendencies, what with odd-looking mustachular shadows
