I'm wondering since Noel said this is the last album contracted with Sony AND he didn't want Sony to get the bulk of the 66 songs that have been written (and maybe most recorded) that Oasis might drop another album very soon and unnannouced.
Does everybody remember how Zooropa from U2 came out of nowhere, with almost no organized pre-sale hype.
Imagine if 'Stop The Clock's does exist AND is as good as reported. Maybe Noel is thinking...........I could release this a month after DBTT and it won't be Sony's.
Just a thought.

won't say exactly what I would like to say because I can't but just consider the album title for a few seconds - your not spot on but at the same time not too far off the mark

not saying too much more but do you honestly think that a title of don't believe the truth is coincidental?? just think about it, especially given the fiasco with the leaking of the previous album which cost the band and the record company a lot of money.

Record companies have a way of holding songs hostage, though, they can make provisions in the recording contract that say that any songs recorded but not used cannot be rerecorded for a certain length of time...don't know if Oasis has that problem or not tho.
