Anybody in the US of A got satellite radio? XM or Sirius? Do you get any stations that play Oasis or even brit-rock in general? Just curious since I'm considering getting satellite radio - listening to FM is excruciatingly bad, especially in the midwest.

CD quality brit rock , you choose 10 bands and Rhapsody completes the playlist with another 50 or so bands in the same genre... so I got a brit rock stream going, no DJ , no commercials, optimumonline customers get it for free, 4.95 per month for non customers....

i am getting XM radio next month. afew of my friends have it already and from what i heard Oasis gets ALOT of play on the stations "Lucy", and "Fred", the two Alternative Stations.
I have heard them doing acoustic Whatever on "The Loft" as well
as for Brit Rock? Fred, Ethel, and Lucy are the best 1, 2, 3 punch on ANY Satellite service. Fred Until now, the Alternative sounds of the 70s and 80s didn't have a home on the radio. Fred brings you Depeche Mode, Bowie, The Clash, The Cure, The Smiths, liberally seasoned with Seattle Grunge and Punk.
Ethel All of alternative rock music's monster hits. Bands like Blink 182, Coldplay, Goo Goo Dolls, Weezer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Stone Temple Pilot and Smashing Pumpkins.
Lucy Lucy is all about the most important and well known songs in the history of Alternative Music. While Fred, Ethel, Squizz and other XM Alt channels go deep, Lucy is about the encores...the giants...the defining songs of the generation. Bands like Interpol, Doves, Oasis, Radiohead
