From NME today OASIS have finally completed their new album ‘DON’T BELIEVE THE TRUTH’ – and their first single will be called ‘LYLA’, NME.COM can exclusively reveal. It’s been the longest build up to a record since their unsigned days before ’Definitely Maybe’, but after scrapping over 50 songs, Oasis have finished their sixth studio album. The band have told NME.COM that ‘Don’t Believe The Truth’, will be released on May 30, and despite the delays the trademark Oasis swagger is back with a vengeance. “I’m happy with every track on the album,” Noel Gallagher told NME.COM, adding that the album will be proceeded single ‘Lyla’ on May 16. "It's The Who,” added Noel. “’Lyla’ was specifically designed for pogoing.”<br> For the full story of Oasis' new record, see this week’s NME, which hits newsstands in London tomorrow (March 8) and nationwide the day after. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
