i found this on a site talking about glastonbury 2004
Paul, who was surrounded by 20 members of staff, even kept his distance from other celebrities and the only fellow star allowed to meet him was Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, who is a huge Beatles fan.
NICE!The king only accept to see Liam isnt it amazing?

I don't like Macca these days. I saw his dressing room on the Back To The USSR and it is huge. I think if John had lived these days he would throw up. His show is too big man, too much "look at me!!". Macca thinks he's God. But he was just in a band who made it very, very big (according to John Lennon).
To me John and George are the kings..

yeah but still the man is a legend and is according liam the only meeting of the entire event so i tought that was nice.

And yeah, Macca is up on stage like LOOK ITS PAUL MCCARTNEY I'M SINGING HEY JUDE BECAUSE I DIDNT WRITE ANY GOOD SONGS AFTER 1970!

But the fact is...HE IS PAUL MCCARTNEY!! He is a legend. Written some amazing songs and in my opinion deserves the right to say LOOK AT ME. Im not even a big McCartney fan, but you cant really knock him. Also no good songs after 1970? What about Live and let die? (unless thats before 1970 lol) That is an amazing song and was performed amazing at the superbowl. He may push his ideals on us...but ive never seen him do it whilst he is performing. Unlike Chris "bell end" martin. |
