Which do you prefer... i have to say i like The Meaning Of Soul better, it reminds me of Hung In A Bad Place... it's very much like Heavy Stereo (Gem's old band).
what do you guys think?

A Bell Will Ring sounds the most like Oasis, I prefer this one.
The Meaning of Soul sounds too much like a garage band to me.

A tough one. Not knoecked back by either of them when i heard them from the Poole & Glasto shows, decent-ish songs imo, no more than B-sides for me. When i first heard the two songs i preferred A Bell Will Ring but i recentley heard that demo of Meaning Of Soul allegedly by Noel and liked it. TBH, I can't decide although i'm not mad on either would like to really decide if or when i hear them fully produced, which their is a good chance of as i heard that M.O.S will be on the new album and i can see A.B.W.R as maybe a B-side on 1 of the new singles.

I hate to say this, but I think I'd have to agree with this one... I mean,imo, a bell will ring is SLIGHTLY better than meaning of soul, but thats not really saying much. And with rumours taht meaning of soul is gonna be on the new album worries me a bit =\ |

I like a Bell Will Ring more than The Meaning of Soul. Meaning of Soul is alright though, the demo is decent, it's different than the Poole and Glasto versions and Noel sings it.

I think the meaning of soul is shit. a bell will ring aint one of the greatest songs i've ever heard but its a little better than liam's one, its more oasis. For me the meaning of soul sounded too hard at glastonbury and not to forget Zak Starkey's delightful drumming which made the song even worst than it was (where did ringo's genes go?)
I believe in Noel's common sense (which is the less common of all senses).

I can't say I have heard a good enough recording to rate either song. They're both just crowd noise and distortion to me.

a bell will ring is a quality song whereas meanin of soul is crap both melodically and lyrically.
i hope 'a bell...' will be on DBTT.
